It's late and i'm a little drunk but i thought i'd post on here to say how disallusioned i am with football at the moment. Excuse the typos refer back to drunk comment...

I am a united fan and, in the same way as Lord Bargain is, am annoyed an upset by the treatment Man united are giving to their fans in many ways including the automatic ticket scheme.

this is diffuclt to say as a united fan but i respect what wenger has done. he had a big budget to spend on players in the close season and didn't AND got rid of henry. Now i understand the henry sale, look how better united played after getting rid of van horse face. Wenger looks for players that are going to fit into his team and play the way he wants them to play. They have world class players in fabregas and van persie but these were shrewd purchases at the time for not alot of money. If you look at players like adebayor, what other team in the premier ship would he get into?? united (tevez, rooney, saha) chelsea? (drogba, kalou, shevchenko) Newcastle (owen, viduka, martins) spurs ( bent, defoe, keane, berbatov) yet he is scoring a load and cost far less than £17 million for bent. He gets players to fit in!! In the same way as the Greece team that won Euro 2004 where anyone of their players would not have made the england team. So i praise arsenal for this but then you hear about THEIR automatic cup scheme ticket policy and it is 100 times WORSE than uniteds and they rip their fans of with general ticket prices.. no wonder they have announced record profits.

Then you have chelsea that have knackered the transfer market for eveyone. If abramovich hadn't taken over, wrigh phillips would ba at arsenal for 9 million, essien at united for the same etc etc. here are some of the ridiculous fees they've paid that people forget about:

Veron - £14 million (contract just been cancelled)
Makelele - £16 million
Drogba - £24 million (same time united by rooney for £20 million + add ons)
Tiago - £8 million
Ferreira - £13.2 million
Carvalho - £19 million
Wright Phillips - £18 Million
Obi Mikel - £14 compensation to united (over £2 million more than ronaldo)
Duff - £17 million
Johnson - $6 million
Mutu - £16 million (then stiched up and sacked)
Essien - £25 million
Del Horno - £8 million
Parker - £10 million

Money chelsea lost from players bought and sold:

Mutu - LOST $16 million - sacked
Veron - LOST £14 Million- released
Tiago - LOST £1.5 million
Parker - LOST$3.5 Million
Crespo???
and the player released on a free:

Marco Ambrosia
Zenden
Hasselbaink
Desailly
Kneissl
Boussoufa
Melchiot
Bogarde
le Saux
Morris
De goey

How is this possible?? And yet mourniho goes and chelsea are rubbish...

There is too much money in football now. Seeing Air asia adverts at united when they fly from NO european airport is appaling... everyone should start supporting small clubs and see what the money men do then
