Morning all.
I promise I will put something of interest up here in due course. As some of you may know, I am in the throes of moving house and so every waking hour seems to be spent bubble wrapping electrical kitchen items and crockery. I still have two Dutch football experiences to share with you at some point...
Meanwhile, the predictions for this week are:
Aston Villa 2-1 Fulham
Chelsea 2-0 Man City
Liverpool 2-1 Everton
Portsmouth 1-2 Arsenal
Sunderland 1-1 Blackburn
Wigan 1-2 West Ham
Charlton 1-2 Newcastle
Man Utd 3-0 Birmingham
Middlesbrough 2-2 Bolton
Spurs 2-0 West Brom
and seeing as eight points separates the bottom nine teams in the League I thought we'd go there for the wildcards....
Bury 1-1 Rochdale
Torquay 2-1 Stockport
Barnet 1-3 Darlington
Finally, just an update on the potential bonus points scoring for the "guess the FA Cup finalists":
Lord B - Chelsea and Liverpool
Flash - Spurs and Chelsea
El Tel - Man Utd and Chelsea
Swiss - Man Utd and Chelsea
Dom - Arsenal and Newcastle
Weenie - Chelsea and Man Utd
Charby - Chelsea and Arsenal
Mike - Spurs and Arsenal
Sarah - Chelsea and Man Utd
By my reckoning there is only me that can score maximum points here (subject to the semi final draw later of course...)

It's gonna be a "cracking" game for Arsenal against Portsmouth. The big one against Juventus beckons!

Sunderland 0-1 Blackburn
Wigan 1-1 West Ham
Charlton 1-1 Newcastle

the wildcards....

Torquay 1-2 Stockport
Barnet 0-2 Darlington
Look at our FA cup finalist predictions. On the face of it, the cup is pretty dull, isn't it? But then again, unless Wolves ever get there again, I'd rather watch a game like that than one of the horrid mismatches we've had when a team like Millwall gets there. It would be nice to see someone like Charlton, West Ham or Wigan get there just occasionally though, so it's not always Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool or Man Utd.

Ta.
So Lee Dixon thinks Drogba saying he dives sometimes was a language problem.
But for that to work, we have to have an idea what he might have understood by the question. Do you
fall????? It doesn't make sense.
It's hard to see how it was just a misunderstanding / mistranslation.
Here's another interpretation: one might argue he was showing a peculiar supercilious disdain for the whole
massive cash-cow that's turned him into a rich superstar.
Perhaps he's been reading too much Camus.
