Berwick Rangers are my second team, I suppose I should explain that in a post at some point...

(less random for me, you see. And the only team other than Chelsea and Hearts with a 100% record so far this season. Division 2 here we come!)

and with that, Burnley have just scored their first goal at Molineux for 19 years.

Sigh.

"no fave football team, any suggestions"?

blimey. Where to start?

Jason, the best bet is to tell us a bit about your personality, and we'll find you a football club to match.

For example, if you have had a life full of disappointment and underachievement, I'll get Swiss Toni to take you to see Wolves.

If you've no family heritage but lots and lots of money and are nice if slightly dull, Chelsea may be a better bet.

And if you're 50% French and a bit dirty, it'll be Arsenal.

etc.

so come on, what are you like?

Eh!

If you want dissapointment, pain and misery, come along to the Forest!

We have the monopoly on that!

I am stupid and forgot the key clash of Sunderland - West Ham.

I predict an 2-1 win to the Hammers

London clubs playing at home on 1st April:

Arsenal v Aston Villa
Fulham v Portsmouth
West Ham v Charlton

On 8th April:

Charlton v Everton 15.00
Chelsea v West Ham 15.00
Tottenham v Man City 15.00

Hope you get to go to one of these, Jason. If you go to the Charlton v Everton one, you might see Charby? :)

as I randomly cut & paste from Charby....

Sunderland 0-1 West Ham

And Jason - you should probably try to get Arsenal tickets for 1/4 if you can (you'll see some of the best players in the world, and some from Aston Villa), but to be honest, from a purely footballing point of view you'll be better off at West Ham v Charlton.

And listen - I don't need to hear any Wolves jokes tonight. I watched the game tonight, and we absolutely battered them and lost 0-1. It was ridiculous, but obviously being a wolves fan, from the moment we hit the bar twice in quick succession, I knew it was destined not to be our night. I did chuckle when Glenda went for the traditional post-match handshake with Steve Cotteril at the end of the game and just resolutely refused to look him in the eye. It's almost worse being a great footballing side that can't get results than the hopeless rabble we usually are.

Actually, on second thoughts Jason - stay clear of football. It only brings heartache.

Knackers!

I forgot my bloody predictions, like I can afford a week with no points.

Kack, kack kacky kacky plop.

I get the feeling this week wasn't a good week.
SwissToni are you copying me?!

swisslet said...

ha !

If I was copying you, I think I'd be doing better than I am. Yours happened to be the comment that I copied & pasted to get the fixture list, and if you look, I'm so OCD that I had to change the format to have the score prediction in the middle, and not at the ends of each team name (and I put in the full name of the teams as I don't like some of the abbreviations).

Oh, and my score predictions were different too. I Should think that I was nearly as upset as you by the late winner your lot suffered too. I had 2-2 down for that (the assist points Jermaine Defoe got me where some consolation, admittedly).

I was heart-broken, I dunno what went wrong! We were doing so well at 2-0 up! Then it just went downhill!
Still I knew our awesome start couldn't have lasted long. It was as much a fluke as me doing well in this!
